The Manor House Hotel Castle Combe Wedding

Remi & Dom

There’s just something about shooting Mr and Mr weddings that is truly exciting; something that I love to be a part of. It’s a celebration not just of marriage, but of equality, which makes the occasion all the more special. When Remi and Dom asked me to photograph their wedding, I was seriously excited. Their plans sounded incredible, and their personalities were truly unique.

The couple exclusively hired out The Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe. The venue itself was magnificent, an ivy-covered Austen-esque manor house standing proudly in acres of beautifully kept gardens. On the morning of the wedding, the sky was blue and home to a few white fluffy clouds – the perfect setting for a perfect day.

In the manor house, Remi and Dom got ready together in their gorgeous suite. They both looked dapper in their suits! The ceremony itself took place outside in the gardens before an excited crowd under a stunning pavilion, decked with flowers by one of my favourites, Passion Flowers.

After the lovely service, canapes and champagne were served outside on the terrace and group photos took place around the pristine gardens. The weather was beautiful, so while the guests were having a chin wag, I took Remi and Dom across to some quieter areas of the gardens to take some couple shots before it was time to eat.

The wedding breakfast was carried out in the gorgeous Bybrook restaurant, decorated again by Passion Flowers with stunning floral centrepieces. Food was eaten, champagne drank and the newlyweds cut the magnificent gold foiled cake before the speeches were given. Remy and Dom’s mothers gave speeches which really personalised the day. The best man even broke out into song whilst playing his ukulele which pleased the guests immensely!

As the day went on, garden games were played as a string quartet filled the air with music. Before we all knew it, day turned into night. Back inside, Remy and Dom had their first dance which was orchestrated beautifully, and the real party started! Congratulations to both Remy and Dom on their marriage and an unforgettable day.
