ALICE & ED

Stunning Alice with her Officer Ed
It was a perfect December day for Alice and Ed to wed. The air was crisp, the floor was covered in a dusting of snow, and the sun shone. The beautiful day started with me meeting Army Officer, Ed, and his family at The Cheltenham Townhouse Hotel. After capturing a few last minute getting ready shots, I quickly dashed to Alice’s traditional and cosy childhood Cheltenham home to document  Alice and her bridesmaids. After hair and makeup was complete and dress on, Alice’s dad led a prayer in the living room before the Rolls Royce’s arrived and we all headed to the church.
“Thanks again for everything – we had so much fun with you and you blended in so well on the day. We were really impressed”.

Alice and her bridesmaids arrived at Alice’s local church, Cambray Baptist Church, to the whole congregation patiently awaiting the bride’s arrival. Alice’s dad gave her away as Alice met Ed at the altar. The ceremony was super. There were several readings, one given by one of Ed’s twin brothers. Whilst the couple signed all the important stuff, one of Alice’s bridesmaids sang a beautiful song.

All official, Alice and Ed walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, under a celebratory saber arch and through a mass of confetti. Everyone then headed to Pittville Pump Rooms, just a 5 minute drive away. The weather was stunning at this point, so we took the opportunity to get some romantic and group shots in whilst the guests swarmed into the warmth for canapes.

Once everyone was back inside, it was time for delicious food and sweet speeches before the cutting of the elegant cake. The newlyweds then took to the dancefloor for their first dance before the party started with a Ceilidh dance. Congratulations to such a lovely couple, and good luck Alice on her move overseas to be with husband Ed. I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Ed’s dad, Michael, for his photography assistance on the day!
Thank you so much for your help and efforts on our wedding day. You seem to have seamlessly documented all the big moments, and more, We really appreciate everything you’ve done so far, and how relaxed you were which made us relax too.
