LAURA & LEE
Wow… what can I say about Laura & Lee’s wedding extravaganza?! Beautiful weather, beautiful people, laughter, extravagant, honest and dead good fun. The day started for me somewhere off the M5 in the Aztec Hotel, Bristol. Lee & his best man had spent the night there whilst Laura and the ladies were living it up at Tortworth Court in Gloucestershire. When I arrived, the boys had just got back from the spa and were keen to get the day under way. Once Lee was suited and booted, I headed off to the stunning Tortworth Court to document the goings on in the bridal suite.
“Outside the grand hotel sat a humongous soft top white Rolls Royce and a stretch limousine; ready and waiting to deliver my bride and her bridesmaid to St Helens C of E Church in the village of Alveston.”
I entered the bridal suite finding hair and makeup well under way. The room was buzzing; these ladies like to look good and they were pulling out all the stops! I felt a little dowdy in comparison to these glamorous beings! Little Jonny Cruise, Laura’s adorable nephew, sat smiling on the bed for the entire morning without the slightness grumble before dropping off to sleep in his wedding finery.
Laura was escorted by her proud father to the waiting carriage, and they headed off with the roof down to the church with me behind in hot pursuit. The ceremony proceeded, Lee was overwhelmed when he saw his beautiful Laura in her stunning dress. She looked more than a million dollars. I think I should mention the vicar as she was really scary! Definitely one of the scariest this year, I dared to move from the spot she had kindly allocated me!
After the ceremony, we headed back to Tortworth for canapés and a couple of group photos before being laid into the most stunningly dressed room my eyes had ever encountered. Everything had been thought of, Laura had her dream dance floor with twinkling lights built in. It was like something from a fairy tale. Once the excited guests were seated, a singer entertained throughout the wedding breakfast. I’ve never seen this before and it was great, guests getting up to dance between courses. Speeches commenced, a tear or two shed. Finally cake cutting and dancing into the evening. Overall a jolly good wedding.
I just want to say a MASSIVE thank you! Your photos have out weighed all my expectations, you have captured every moment of the day and managed to capture every single guest!
Your service, after service and whole presentation is outstanding and I can not wait to come and see you to make the album!
Thank you so much Kerry, the whole thing is truly amazing xx
