CHARLOTTE & JACK

Chatty Charlotte & Silent Type Jack

I’ve got to say, I love engagement shoots. It gives me a chance to really get to know the couple before the big day, and it gives the couple the chance to get comfortable with me and my camera!  This time, I travelled up to Hungerford near Marlborough to meet Charlotte and Jack and their pugs who are getting married at North Hidden Farm Barn in late September (the people, not the pugs).  We met at the venue, which allowed me to have a nose around and figure out what would make a great shot, and gave Charlotte and Jack the opportunity to make some plans for the big event.  After a lovely sunny week, typically it was overcast – but it was the perfect weather for easy, flattering photos of 50s-inspired Charlotte, handsome chap Jack and the dapper bow-tied pugs.

“Following a really lovely engagement shoot, I’m looking forward September for the big day, and can’t wait to see their plans turn into reality.”

We wandered around the venue and through fields of both grass and corn, before jumping in the car to find another perfect backdrop. Five minutes down the road we found a pile of logs, which in my opinion always make for a great shot. We even managed to get their beloved blue Fiat 500 in shot. Winner!

If you would like an engagement shoot, please don’t hesitate to contact me by either filling in the contact form below, sending an email to kerrywho@me.com or giving me a ring on 07809459478.
