ALEX & KATRINA

Site Manager Katrina and  toy designer Alex

Alex & Katrina had recently arrived from Hong Kong for a short break in the UK and wanted a photo-shoot to celebrate their recent engagement. We met up and had a chat & ccoffee before our shoot; I find it really helps to get to know my couples a bit before I start photographing them. It gives me time to explain where we are going and what to expect.

“Oh my goodness Kerry!!!

Couldn’t help but immediately look through the photos, they are amazing!!!!! Composition.. natural lighting… honestly so much better than artificial lighting!! You have framed us into real models here!! Oh my, I cannot believe how beautiful the photos are, I’m so glad that we have found you!!!”

It turned out that both Alex & Katrina are ex design students, so we had more in common than I originally thought. They both attended boarding schools in the UK before meeting and falling in love whilst studying at St Martins university in London. Alex had also just returned from working in Tele Aviv, which so happens to be my favourite city. We had plenty to chat about, mostly my love for proper falafel and oriental babies!

“Thank you so much again Kerry for these great photos, 100% will recommend you to my friends and family if they ever go around Bath!”

Local Engagement Shoot

Sarah & Tom fancied their engagement shoot in the valley that they often walk together, this so happens to also be my regular patch as they live just a mile from my house. An area of outstanding natural beauty I will add! Despite being eaten alive by horse flies, we...

Bath Park Family Shoot

Last weekend I had a super relaxed shoot with Lucy, Dylan and cutie Max. We took a stroll around Victoria Park in Bath, Max had great fun exploring and playing with the local resident squirrels. Looking forward to shooting Lucy & Dylan’s wedding next year at the...

London Engagement Shoot

I love trips up to London, especially now I have discovered the UBER Taxi; no longer will you find me frowning at the tube map pretending I know what I’m doing. No more stress lunging camera gear up escalators or being squashed into a tiny lift, the nice UBER man...

Countryside Engagement Shoot

Ally and Niall took advantage of the beautiful countryside right on my doorstep for their engagement shoot. Why travel miles when you have all of this right under your...

Tetbury Engagement Shoot

I met up with Rachael & Russell on a rather dull day at The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury. We had a mooch around the fabulous barn & grounds to gather ideas for the impending wedding before setting off into the town centre for a mini engagement shoot. I think...

Wick Farm Wedding Photographer

I offer every couple a chance to meet up before their wedding at their reception venue. Not only is this a good time to catch up on any new planning developments but an opportunity to look around the venue together, check out the light and find some good spots for...

Engagement Photography in Bath

I meet up with Laurence & Katie at the weekend to take a look at Bailbrook House Hotel their chosen wedding venue. We were treated to a grand tour, which included a trip to the very luxurious bridal suite (Robbie Williams actually slept there)! After the tour we...

Engagement Photography

This was the real thing! Not a pre –wedding shoot but a proper surprise proposal. William contacted me a few weeks prior to the event to discuss his plan of attack – this involved me loitering around in the woods ready to pounce when he popped the question! Jessica...

Clevedon Pier Engagement

I love winter photo shoots, you have to be a bit more imaginative when things are looking particularly gloomy outside. I think that I always expect the worse from the weather but usually end up pleasantly surprised. Choosing a location, which doesn’t look completely...
